Extremely happy and humble to see this project come to life. The amount of blood, sweat and tears shed during the making of this project makes it probably the hardest and more fulfilling project I have been given the opportunity to lens.
So much love for Samir Benchikh for trusting me and being my new found brother, Antonin Sgambato and his team for their dedication to making this the best movie possible despite the many challenges,
Lola la Ragazza, for being my sister in arms in times of dakness, Arnaud Marten for his unbelievable wisdom, AD Toy for making the best out in limited ressources,
Hugo Delaigue and his team for putting his health on the line and being maybe the best 1st AC I've had the chance to work with,
Roland Naba and Emmanuel Ouiya and the rest of the Grip team for always having my back and accepting my difficult set ups,
Yacouba Guiguimde and his team for being the best gaffer and an unbelievable human being, always the first and last person on set, making light shine in places that shouldn't have been possible, under pouring rains and harsh african sun.
Claudius Hawmmond, Qini Koné and the everybody from HStudio for their generosity and humbling kindness, Marius Tagba and his team and Vincent Amour, colorist extraordinaire for making this project look beautiful!
For my family for allowing me to abandon them for weeks on and trusting me with this film.
For all the long nights, the months, weeks spent together and the amount of dedication everyone have put in this endeavour, I will never forget this experience in Ivory Coast and the people from this region, it shapped profoundly the person and artist I want to be in this beautifully, difficult and unforgiving industry.
The movie will now start it's festival course around the world and air on #Arte in 2020.
